In the wake of all the transfer rumors surrounding Ozil’s departure from Arsenal; Arsenal is desperate to get Ozil off their payroll and is willing to listen to just any offer including the possibility of Ozil leaving for a free transfer.
As it should be, different clubs have lined up seeking the signature of the once Arsenal’s golden boy. D.C United and Fenerbache are the latest clubs rumored to be in negotiation with Ozil with the latter being tipped as his likely destination.
Just before the Christmas run of matches, it seemed Arsenal could do no right creatively and were in dire need to re-integrate Ozil back into the team. But things took a different twist with the introduction of Arsenal’s youth academy youngster Emile Smith Rowe into the starting line-up to take up the responsibility of providing creativity into the team. To everybody’s amusement, Emile has changed the way arsenal play going forward, bringing more creativity into this arsenal team as well as providing them with the work rate which reminds fans of Aaron Ramsey at his peak during his Arsenal days.
So far this season, it has been 3-0 for Arsenal whenever Emile plays and he has been one of the brightest stars on the pitch for Arsenal.
This has caused concerns for creativity in Arsenal’s side to be almost a thing of the past and calls for Ozil to be reintegrated back into the side to quiet down a bit. But the Million Dollar Question is: With Ozil on his way out, can Emile Smith Rowe be trusted with the sole responsibility to fill Ozil’s big shoes and to spark Arsenal back to life? And for how long?
Is Emile Smith Rowe the next big thing or just a flash in the pan like many youngsters before him at Arsenal including Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere to mention a few?
Keeping in mind the immense pressure that comes with wearing an Arsenal shirt and being at the top of your game week in, week out, is it advisable for Arteta to saddle the youngster with such responsibilities? The likes of Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi are yet to recover from the taunting of Arsenal fans. And even golden boy Ozil has gotten his fair share of criticism in the past.

As for now, All eyes on Emile Smith Rowe as he gets set to take the English Premier League as well as the world of football by storm.
